World peace must develop from inner peace.   Peace is not just mere absence
of violence.  Peace is, I think, the manifestation of human compassion.

Lay Chaplains at Don Heights

Lay Chaplains

Don Heights has two Lay Chaplains who are licensed to perform weddings and skilled at working with families to create meaningful ceremonies to celebrate and commemorate life transitions.

Our Lay Chaplains may conduct memorial or funeral services and will also officiate at the celebration of the birth of a new family member, at the coming of age of a young person or for other important milestones in our lives.

Please refer to the following .pdf files, from the CUC.ca archive, which outline the procedure for becoming a Lay Chaplain and the process of selecting a Lay Chaplain.
