When you do nothing, you feel overwhelmed and powerless. But when you get involved, you feel the sense of hope and accomplishment that comes from knowing you are working to make things better.

Lay Chaplains at Don Heights

Lay Chaplains

Don Heights has a Lay Chaplain who is licensed to perform weddings and skilled at working with families to create meaningful ceremonies to celebrate and commemorate life transitions. We also have a Lay Chaplain in training, who will soon be finished her apprenticeship.

Our Lay Chaplains may conduct memorial or funeral services and will also officiate at the celebration of the birth of a new family member, at the coming of age of a young person or for other important milestones in our lives.

Please refer to the following .pdf files, from the CUC.ca archive, which outline the procedure for becoming a Lay Chaplain and the process of selecting a Lay Chaplain.
